Roles & Responsibilities
As Director of Sales & BD, you’ll be central to driving GTM Labs’ growth through strategic pipeline building and hands-on sales execution:
- Sales & Pipeline Strategy
- Develop and implement high-impact sales strategies across our full range of agency services and product lines.
- Design, manage, and own the inbound/outbound sales pipeline—including outreach, nurture sequences, and conversion optimization.
- Build scalable sales funnels, CRM workflows, and performance tracking systems.
- Team Leadership & Collaboration
- Recruit, build, and lead a high-performing remote sales team as business needs evolve.
- Collaborate closely with marketing to ensure effective lead generation and campaign alignment.
- Manage relationships and coordinate with key stakeholders, clients, and partners.
- Deal Execution & Performance
- Personally pursue, negotiate, and close deals, targeting both new business and strategic partnerships.
- Maintain and report on core sales KPIs, actively managing all stages of the sales cycle.
- Drive continuous improvement through measurement, feedback, and process iteration.
Ideal Candidate
You are:
- Experienced: 3-6 years in startup, SaaS, or service/agency sales-comfortable with targets, incentives, and ownership.
- Leadership-Ready: Have managed or mentored sales teams or want to step up to that challenge.
- Results-Driven: Motivated by measurable impact, disciplined in follow-through, and proactive in your outreach.
- A Great Communicator: Naturally builds rapport and trust with clients, stakeholders, and team.

Compensation
- Profit/Revenue Sharing Model (Initial 3 Months):
- There is no fixed pay for the first 3 months.
- You only receive compensation based on business and revenue you directly generate for GTM Labs, such as deals you close, clients you bring in, or partnerships established through your sales activities.
- Payment is strictly performance-based: your share is transparently calculated from revenue/profit resulting from your attributable contributions.
- No business/revenue brought in through your actions for a period means no payout for that period.
- After the initial phase, we may explore a structured retainer, equity participation, or hybrid approach, depending on traction, impact, and mutual interest.
